The Flipside

Charlotte was born and raised in Grand Falls-Windsor and went to school at St. Catherine’s High School where she graduated with a High School Diploma.

She started music lessons at age 5 and throughout high school became known as a singer and piano player. In 1989, she was the winner of the Budweiser Country Contest in Brook. She then moved to St. John’s where she performed at the Radison Hotel in the Nancy Oh Piano Bar as a singer and was very popular with the audiences that came to the establishment. Over the years she has fronted a number of local bands such as Brigade and Vintage.

After getting married, she moved away from the island where she worked in retail but found that music and coming back home was always on her mind. Since returning back to Grand Falls-Windsor she began performing at numerous events around town and also become a part of the Queen Street Dinner Theatre and is now a regular with the troupe.
